Whether you are a sports geek or not, you'll have to agree that everyone around the globe is
somehow involved in one kind of sport or the other and that the world would be an entirely
different place without sports. Ever since sports were first played and displayed for the audience,
there have been millions of moments that either make us awestruck or cringe totally. Today, we
will present you with some unnoticed moments from the sports world that would either make
you laugh your lungs out or make you think whether that athlete really is a human. So, brace up
yourselves, and watch out for the first one as it will definitely have your jaw dropping. But
before we get into all that, don’t forget to gently hit the like and subscribe buttons
Number 10.) Louis Van Gaal's alleged dive
Louis van Gaal is the former manager of The Manchester United team. He made a name for
himself when he pulled a stunt by throwing himself to the ground during a match over Arsenal at
Old Trafford. The Red Devil's manager was disagreeing with Mike Dean, a fourth official, on a
refereeing decision made in the second half. When Louis saw that Dean was not being swayed
by the rants he was pulling, he fell over in front of him lying on his back staring at him. This
made the crowd laugh so hard at him. That wasn't Louis' first touchline theatrics and he was
known for such funny encounters, just like he once exposed himself to his Bayern Munich team
in the dressing room to prove a point and also booed a camera. We may never know what Van
Gaal was trying to achieve with this one, but we do know that he proved to love the Red Devils
and his stunt will go down as one of the season's most peculiar moments.
9. Astros Mascot vs Security guard

Most mascots love dancing and messing around with people and Orbit, the lime-green mascot of
the Houston Astros is no exception. He loves to poke the bear and wait to see what happens. As
you can see in this video clip, Orbit tried to tease a nearby security guard with his unique dance
moves during a break between the innings. The guard ignored him at first as he was busy doing
his job, but Orbit wouldn't leave him alone. He kept on dancing till the guard couldn't bear
anymore, and he pushed him away, accepting his dance challenge. The tables were turned, and
everybody enjoyed witnessing his Michael Jackson-like moves. He even did a few splits,
shimmying, shaking, and cartwheels, and showed everyone that he wasn't going to lose the
challenge. After thirty seconds of showing off his dancing talent, the guard went back to his
position and started performing his duty as if nothing had happened. Orbit went up to the guard,
shook his hand, and walked off completely in awe and embarrassed as he shook his head. Surely,
if it wasn't for the mascot covering his face, we would have seen him look red in embarrassment.
Number 8.) Monkey Runner
It has always been, 'whatever monkeys see, monkeys do' but for Kenichi Ito, it was quite the
opposite. He studied how monkeys ran on all four of their limbs and managed to pull it off after
several attempts. Kenichi broke the Guinness World Record thrice for being the fastest runner on
all four limbs as every time he managed to reduce the time in which he finished. In 2013, he
finished the race in 16.87 seconds which happened to be his last since as the years went, he
became benchmarked by Katsumi Tamakoshi who was nineteen years old then. As there is from
rags to riches, for Ito, his story goes from rags to records. He used to work as a cleaner and often
used to mop on all four limbs just to practice. Kenichi inspired so many people worldwide to get
down on all fours, enter the Guinness World Record, and beat his record.
Number 7.) An Octopus on ice

It has always been a tradition of the Red Wing fans to throw an octopus on the ice in the arena as
a symbol of Detroit's run of success. This tradition originated in the 1950s, and it was a symbolic
offering to ensure a bountiful harvest season for the farmers of Detroit and went about the eight
post-session wins that are required to win the Stanley Cup.
