Benfica made easy work over Lech on Matchday 5 with a 4-0 win in Group D. With the Lech loss it is now eliminated and Benfica is through.

Benfica opened the scoring in the 36’ when Vertonghen found the back of the net. In the 57’ and 58’ it rattled off two rapid goals to jump out to a 3-0 lead thanks to Nunez and Pizzi. Weigl notched one more goal in the 89’ just for insurance.
