The Program Assessment for Safety in Sport (PASS) helps schools and organization continually prioritize the health and safety of their athletes. Based on the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s (NATA) Appropriate Medical Care Standards for Organizations Sponsoring Athletic Activity for the Secondary School Age Athlete (AMCS), PASS outlines a framework for a comprehensive and strategic approach in the provision of athletic health care. PASS allows schools and organizations to benchmark their success and opportunities against the twelve standards deemed as necessary in providing appropriate medical care for secondary school age athletes.
